  1. That woman should take that CARDINALS Shirt off. She is not worthy to wear that shirt.

  2. I saw that and thought the same thing. She is the liberal version of “Get a brain! Morans!”

I’m not sure those of you who are conservative want to start throwing the word “uneducated” around. Pretty much every study undertaken on this topic has found a positive correlation between level of education and liberal political views. The same correlation exists between higher education and secularism (atheism, agnosticism etc.). I know it’s painting in broad strokes, but it’s hardly trivial.

  4. I chose the word on purpose so people would click on it because they’d see it and disagree. More of a “hook,” if you will. I don’t disagree with your points, that studies show people with higher education tend to be more liberal than not. I was just using the word differently.

Level of education and whether somebody is actually “educated” are two very different things in my view.

If that lady from St. Louis attended my alma-mater, or Wash U, and doesn’t know who John Maynard Keynes is, regardless of the degrees she presumably attained, I view her hysteria as that of somebody who is uneducated.

The video does a very good job (with the exception of one rally goer who refers to Obama’s economic views, he understands economics) at exposing the very real fact that some of the people who attended the “Sanity” rally are just as hysterical as the Tea Partiers they vilify and despise.

I guess I would say that, I am more of a classical liberal, at least in the economic sense.

There are many people who lack formal education in both parties, and I wouldn’t disparage anyone for not having graduated from high school. My grandfather didn’t have a HS diploma, but he was a bright guy.
