How Quickly Things Change in 4 Years

Strickland loses re-election, Fisher gets destroyed by Portman…. and how quickly you can flip the rhetoric used by all of the prominent Democratic politicians against themselves. Then-Senator Hillary Clinton, along with Virginia’s Mark Warner opine about how bad “one party rule” is, and then, history, like it often does, repeats itself. I love the Jimmy DiMora sign in the background and all of this talk of corruption. That’s the beauty of politics — it’s cyclical, doesn’t forget, and often proves sweet.

You’ll get a glimpse of a Shaker Heights politician in action in this film. I wonder if Fischer’s talking about casting a provisional ballot was due to his own mistake. Maybe Betsy will netflix this in the coming days and we can do a movie review.
