mccain bomble

Thanks for visiting. What is this webpage, you ask? Let's take a trip down memory lane.

It was my sophomore year at Saint Louis University, and I had just lost an election for student government President. Having just made a webpage for my ticket, I learned that making a basic webpage wasn't all that hard, nor was it that expensive (domains are $10 a year).

So, one night with some of my Tau Kappa Epsilon fraternity brothers in the Village, we were poking fun at some kids on their way to a fraternity theme party, and Greg Lumsden remarked: "What a bunch of Bumbling oafs..." while reclining and enjoying a beverage in B-204. I said aloud, yeah, "what a bunch of bombling oafs!" Greg made fun of me for my temporary dyslexia, but there it was, Bomble was born.

Later that night, I went back to my humble DeMattias abode, and along with the help of the ever-delicious strawberry flavored tobacco hookah, purchased Bomble.com and set up the webpage. Going through my fonts, I came across one that suited what I thought was the best logo for Bomble.com -- and it hasn't changed since.

Here's the original logo I made that night:

My webpage started out small, and grew steadily. One of the first things I used my webpage for was to alert people to this prick who no longer attended SLU who was pulling the fire alarms in our dorm at late hours in the evening.

Then came my blog blog.

I later purchased the domain JimSwift.net, and what started out as a failed attempt to install blogger (now owned by google) in a directory, turned into my blog that I use years later.

Be it for school projects or other tomfoolery, Bomble.com remains in similar form four years later.

Thanks for visiting!

P.S.- Make sure you visit BOMBLENEWS.com to see what news I'm reading..
