Course Review: Bristow Manor

Today, I took advantage of a day off of work and went to play Bristow Manor Golf Club in Prince William County, Virginia. I got up early and made the drive down 95 (why would I take 66??) and up Dumfries. It was a scenic drive against the grain of traffic and wasn’t all too bad.

I teed off around 8am, and used my VSGA VIP card, which got me 18 and a cart for $25. I breezed through the first nine, and eventually caught up with two older gentlemen retired from the USDA — both named Jerry, but one went by Nuke to differentiate himself. I didn’t ask why.

Once I paired up with them, my play improved, with three pars for the next four holes. All in all, I shot a 94. It was a challenging course.

Here are some photos of this beautiful course.
